INSCRIPTION:
Sacred to the memory of Walter Hore esq of Westmorland in the County of Wicklow and late of Seafield in this County who departed this life the5th Jan 1818 in the 88th year of his age. Also of his son Rev. Walter Hore late Rector of Ferns in this County who died on the 28th day of September 1813 in the 36 year of his age. Ist Thess in Chap iv
The dead in Christ shall rise first then be which are alive and remain shall be caught (?) up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in ___ and so shall we each be with the Lord wherefore comfort one another with these words
