INSCRIPTION:
Beneath this tomb lie the mortal remains of Revd ____ ? Parke. He was a man who like Enoch walked with God and God took him in his life and conversation. he thro evil report and good report bore testimony to the truth is it in Jesus and in death furnished his testimony to the faithfulness of his promised. I will never leave nor forsake thee. He departed this life on 31st December 1839. Here also lie the remains of Helen his widow who fell asleep in Jesus on the 27th August 1843.
at her departure she was by grace privileged.
