INSCRIPTION:
Beneath this stone are laid the mortal remains of Charlotte Owen the dearly loved and long lived wife of Robert Owen of Marlfield. She entered into rest on Sunday 4th Sept 1853 aged 57 years.
Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death for thou are with me I will fear no evil. thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Ps 23.
Also of Mary Frances Stopford Owen daughter of Robert and Charlotte Owen. She was born 6th July 1832. She died 12th Decem 1846
For as Adam all die even so in Christ shall all be made live.
When Christ who is our life
shall appear then shall ye also appear with him in Glory. Col 111.4
