Underneath this stone lieth the mortal remains of Mr Thomas Burke to whose beloved memory it was laid there by his sorrowing widow he was a man of good understanding and an humble devoted christian and died in peace at Kilnahue the residence of James Hand her father died 8 June 1836 aged .
"Them also which sleep in Jesus will god bring with him".
