Erected by William Smith Johnstown in memory of his father John Smith who died 4th August 1880 aged 64 years and his wife Frances died 8th Dec. 1924 aged 63 years.
The above William Smith died 16th March 1925 aged 77 years.
Also his daughter-in-law Maria Sarah [Minnie] Smith died 14th July 1951 aged 56 years.
Also his son Henry J.Smith died 21st May 1953 aged 64 yrs.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again even so them which sleeps in Jesus will God bring with him.
