Erected by John Byrne Courtown harbour in memory of his father Thomas Byrne who died 12th June 1911 aged 60 yrs.
Also his mother Annie Byrne who died 17th June 1934 aged 84 yrs,
His brother Edward died 28th Oct. 1941 aged 63 yrs.
His sister Mary Anne Byrne died 16th Sept. 1955 aged 74 yrs.
The above John [ Jack ] Byrne died 29th April 1981 and his sister Sr. Mary Malachy Byrne born 4th March 1888- died 14th Oct. 1923 interred in Auckland , New Zealand.
