INSCRIPTION:
Beneath are at rest the mortal remains of Rev. Thomas Ottiwell Moore who for 34 years was rector of this parish and union treasurer of the diocese of Ferns, he breathed his last 29th day of Oct. 1854 aged 77 years.
This vault was built and monument erected by his sorrowing widow and children as a small token of their attachment to him during life and fond remembrance since his death.
Here also have been placed the remains Ottiwell Moore died Nov. 29th 1850 aged 8 years.
Abraham Colles Moore died March 29th 1847 aged 2 years grandchildren of the above first and third sons of Thomas Ottiwell Moore Esq. of Barnadown.
Here also are at rest the remains of Rachel Ottiwell Moore widow of the late Rev. Thomas O.Moore she departed this life at Mallow on the 3rd day of May 1864 aged 88 years.
Awaiting the resurrection of the just repose beneath the mortal remains of the Rev. William Colles Moore A.M. some time curate of this parish and rector of Carnew for 19 years. He fell asleep in Jesus on the 27th of July 1866 aged 60 years.
