Erected by Mary Anne Dempsey of Ballygarrett in memory of her mother Catherine Dempsey who died 17th Nov.1899 aged 79 years.
Also her sister Jane died 20th July 1879 aged 24 years.
Her brother John died 17th Jan. 1902 aged 47 years.
Her father George died 7th July 1906 aged 80 yrs.
Her brother James died 7th April 1906 aged 40 yrs.
Also her sister-in-law Anne Dempsey died 26th March 1923 aged 54 yrs.
And her brother Robert died Jan. 30th 1940 aged 87 yrs.

In loving memory of George Dempsey Ballygarrett died 18th Aug. 1966 aged 79 years.
And his son Edward died 18th Nov. 1962 aged 52 years.
And his daughter Maureen died 16th Sept. 1938 aged 16 years.
