Erected by Michael Shortall of Clone in memory of his father John Shortall who died 11th Aug. 1881 aged 61 years.
Also his mother Bridget Shortall died 11th April 1885 aged 62 years.
His brother Louis Shortall died 30th Sep. 1885 aged 23 years.
His sister Sarah Murphy died 13th Feb. 1891 aged 34 years and his wife Sarah Shortall died 27th Sep. 1908 aged 65 years.
The above named Michael Shortall died 21st Jan 1916 aged 60 years and his son Louis died 28th Aug. 1923 aged 37 years.
His daughter-in-law Elizabeth Shortal died 31st May 1956 aged 71 years.
